Student Leadership Council
The NCN Student Leadership Council (SLC) is a student organization for NCN affiliated students from all NCN participating universities nationwide. It's mission is to establish a student network involving NCN schools to facilitate collaborative research, exchange and sharing of ideas, aimed at preparing students to play the leadership role in the emerging nanotechnology forefront.
The first SLC committee was established in October 2005 at Purdue University. The short term goal of the first committee is:
- To establish sub-committes in the other NCN affiliated universities
- To set up the SLC webpage, and provide the infrastracture to for student interraction
- To set up a student mailing list
