The Network for Computational Nanotechnology (NCN) is ready to help centers in their research and outreach missions through nanoHUB, the virtual nanotechnology user facility that is uniquely prepared to help centers engage and impact a global community:
Hosting a Center Web Page on nanoHUB.org
NCN hosts a growing number of center websites directly on nanoHUB. New centers are working with us to create a custom website presence on nanoHUB, eliminating the need for separate web hosting and service. NCN staff can coordinate with the center on the development of a page design for a custom look and feel, and help train center staff on how to independently edit page content. Due to the ease of modifying nanoHUB group pages, the centers find they can update web content without specialized personnel. Various typical web 2.0 capabilities are available in these customized group pages, such as: tagging, searching, wikis, threaded discussions, blogs, wishlists, and calendars.
